Coral not opening and ID help please

So, while buying some stuff at my LFS, I was given (imagine that!!) this frag. It was open, and everything else in the tank looked healthy. But when I got home, floated him and acclimated it via drip method, he hasn’t opened for me yet. I dose VSV of 4 ml daily. All else in my tank is okay, and thriving. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most corals don't open right away after being placed in a new tank.
No idea what it is.

So, Ive been raising my mag because of what I believe to be a bryposis (sic) problem. From what Ive been reading my level shouldn't effect this coiral in this way. If I am wrong, please inform me. I am new and by no means an expert. Here is a pic of most of the tank. I rearranged the rocks, so some of them look new, but the tank is almost a year old, and the rocks that are less of a color afre just turned over. Also, the probe in the middle is a digi temp probe I'm trying to calibrate.

Looks like a green trachyphyllia. Does it have a hard skeleton? I wouldn't sweat mag too much, just keep your params stable and it'll open up in a few days.

I was thinking it might be a candycane with the heads growing really tightly together.

It is a candy cane coral they come in green and brown. Look up live aquaria from dr. fosters that will help you identify some corals
