Gold Coral Banded Shrimp

How big do these get? Do they get as big as the regular coral banded shrimps? I was advised not to put one of the regular coral banded shrimps in a 10g because they get too large. I was wondering if the gold coral banded shrimps stayed small. If not, what shrimps are okay to put in the 10g.

I'm gonna have a starkii damsel and a rose goby in there along with corals and a CUC consisting of just a few snails and macro algae.

Don't put a coral banded with a goby. IME, he'll grab whatever fish he can, regardless of if you feed him or not. I'd stick with peppermint shrimp or a cleaner if you'd like. I personally like peppermint shrimp, a pair of 2. They change sexes and will pair up. Mine is constantly laying eggs and helping feed the fish with them. Cleaner shrimps are also cool, but maybe for a 10 gallon I would just do peppermint.

The golds get to a max of 2 inches. There's also a yellow one and a blue one that only get 1 1/2 inches.

I had a blue before, loved it. It lived with my 4" Diamond Watchman Goby in his burrow along with a 2" redheaded goby.
