What would be a good size tank to do, and what other stuff would u think?

I use a 15g tall that has the same footprint as a 10g but is taller. I put in a 3 tier frag rack with a powerful led light about 20" up and keep everything from sps to chalices and rics in there. In total I have maybe 20 frags with plenty of room for more.

I would say the biggest footprint you can get with a relatively shallow depth. Breeder tanks are great for this, but probably bigger than you are looking for when you say a small frag tank. 15g tanks are 24x12x12, might be a good starter frag tank.

mine is 20x12x17 tall. I choose it specifically for the footprint. If you only plan on keeping those then a 2 or 4 bulb t5 fixture would be plenty. I have a twin tube set-up for a little while but I didn't have any sps in there at the time.
