Sump

Help me set it up. it's a 30 ish gal for my 75. It's acrylic and already has baffles in it. I would live to include a refuge and I really don't want to change much if any with baffles. since the end is the lowest I guess that's the best place for return, not like the water will get that high anyway. Also I have two overflow boxes connected with 1" pvc. a mag7 return with 3/4 pvc. so if i fed water form each box and put return in middle. would that be better?

Thats an easy one.

The reason I think you should remove the last baffle is because water coming over the top of it will cause bubbles in your return section. Take it out and the water will travel under the last baffle. Bubbles trapped in between last 2 baffles. No bubbles in return section.

i like that. what king flow rates with 1" pvc. is there anyway i can use the clear flexible tube? anyone use that. I actually have to go through my wall and in between it and back out the drywall to sump.

You can use flexible pvc or vinyl tubing. Either way works. I think 1" will flow about 600gph without a direct siphon.
