they both seem fine although I like the dimmer option on the first one. I couldn't find a wattage on either unit though, but IMO not really too big of a concern.

I have a digikit w/36 LED's & it's fine. The lights are one watt. & I agree--I like the dimmable option, too.

That's great, I think I'm going to order them today. How do you like your SWC 160 skimmer? I ordered mine on Monday.

I LOVE the SWC160. I'd borrowed a friends SWC120 last summer when my eshopps PSK100 pump was being fixed; loved that one too. Then saw someone with the 160 F/T & jumped on it. The eshopps has been sitting out on my patio ever since...
