Next addition of fish

This is a 7week old tank. just added a ocellaris clownfish on Sunday. I am planning to get a bicolor blenny next. How long should I wait? this is a 20 gallon tank.

One a month is a good rule of thumb. Of course you still need to go by your tank though. 6 week QT period should be plenty of time.

I agree with Hanover, be sure to QT before adding anything else. 4 weeks should be sufficient for the clowns, IMO.

Agreed that quarantine is a very good idea, but as far as the tank chemistry alone goes 7-10 days between fish additions will be long enough for the bacteria populations to catch up with the bio-load.

Patience and a QT! Two of the hardest concepts for beginners, you'll do well in this wonderful hobby/addiction. I see a 2nd mortgage on your house soon, as the addiction takes hold.
