CYNO? Please ID and Help

I nedd some more help guy. I had a HA outbreak a few months ago. After much reading on the VSV dosing I started to dose. I;m up to 5.5 ml daily on the 1 part vodka, 8 parts vinegar and 1 tablespoon of sugar. the HA went away, but I now have this stuff on a few of my rocks. Its seems to be staying on the rocks that it has infested, but I am still concerned. I'm thinking its cyno, and there is so much on the topic conflicting each other I am at a lost what to do. Chemi clean is vastly debated, but I'm leaning towards it if it is cyno, and am looking for some more input on what I have. Below is water params and tank stats.

Ammonia: 0
PH: 8.2
Sal: .026
Mag: 1285
Cal: 450
Phos: 0.0
Nitrates: 0.0
Nitrrites:0.0
Temp: 80

65 gallon DT with 30 gallon sump. ASM G2. Rio 3100 return pump. 2X Koralife 800 GPH powerheads. Kent Phosban reactor with GFO changed out every 10 days with fresh GFO. I drip a gallon of Kalk nightly with two teaspoons to the sump. Laguna 8W UV Steralizer. I run BRS GFO in my sock in a poly bag too.

1 Tomatoe clown
3 Blue damsels
1 Lawnmower Blenny
1 Diamond Goby
2 Chrmois
1 Large Leather
1 Med. RBTA
1 SM frogspawn
1 Frag brain coral
10 Cerith Snails
3 Med Turbo Snails
Approx 10 Red Leg Hermit Crabs
Approx 25 Nasarus Snails

In addition, I just did a 40% water change and again started to dose AlgeaFix Marine of 7 ml (water volume x 10 ml).

Any help with IDing would greatly be appreciated so i can take the right course. Thank You.

Hard to say for sure what your pest is without looking at it under a microscope. My best guess is it is an algae based on the growth habit and color.

How long have you been dosing AF or is this the first dose?

I dosed for 12 weeks and stopped 2 months ago cause all of my hair algae was gone. I didn't do the weekly dose because it was ll gone. I started a new dose last week and am on the third dose now. This new pest is not like the hair algea that grows in spots, but it has a more fuzzy appearance. I'm thinking I will have to try a tang here soon.

It looks more like an alga to me, too. Vodka dosing or a GFO reactor might help.

Pest algae can be introduced easily with new coral, fish, live rock....etc. Hopefully the AF will kick in after around the 6th dose and wipe it out. If not your back to the basics for correcting water issues.
