Advice on Skimmer Pumps
Hello All,
I bought a used Euro Reef RS100 and the first time I used it, the pump didnt work. The magnet had swollen and exploded the magnet casing. I had a fellow reefer loan me a replacement impeller. What I am wondering now is if it is more cost effective to just buy a new pump (considering the cost of an impeller vs a new pump with a warranty!) Any suggestions on what might be a good pump to use? I am hoping to spend somewhere between $80-$120 if possible. any advice would be greatly appreciated! |

They are actually about $40 - the ones that are 10-15 bucks are not the correct ones.
