Question time to change those metal halides, 20k's with good growth???

I lovr trying new bulbs and it is time for a new set. i am currently using 250 watt DE 20k REEFLUX.

I am looking for a 20k or above with decent growth.

I have been looking into the Aqualine AB, XM & Megachrome blue. has anyone had success with any of these bulbs?

I love Radium bulbs. They're not terribly blue but they make the coral pop as if they're under a really blue bulb. If I changed my T5s to MH I'd get SE Radiums. I"m unsure if they make DE Radiums though.

Phoenix bulbs are nice too. They're 14k, but pretty blue.

That's what I'm using right now. While I love the color, the growth is less than stellar. I'm going to switch back to Phoenix 14k.

My fave 20K's were ushio blv 20K's which are the same as aqualine AB 20K's. I never liked phoenix bulbs, they make the tank look like diluted windex.

On the correct ballasts- hqi - both the radium and Phoenix are very bright, and are more of a 14k bulb. On electronic ballasts, either will be alot bluer and about 30% less output.

I'd try the ushio as others have suggested, although I have not seen the bulb.
