Question on Outer Orbit Metal Halide Light
Hello,
I bought a used 60 inch 2 x 250 watt metal halide, 4 x 54 watt T5 outer orbit metal halide light fixture and I was wondering how many fans that the fixture should have. The one I bought has 2 fans and one vent in the middle that does not have a fan. Should there be a fan there? Also, the fans seem to blow air into the fixture as opposed to blowing out. Is this correct, the fixture seems to get very hot. Thanks |

Hi,
Do you have the 2 x 250 metal halide version? Do your fans blow in or out? My fans blow in and I find that my fixture tends to get quite warm. |

I'm not real sure if the fans blow in or out. I have the 2x150 model. Been running it for years with no issues. I wouldn't be too concerned
