Discontinuing Media/Phosban reactor

Alright so I noticed that the media in my reactor was kinda old.. I dont have any extra phosban laying around so I decided to take the whole reactor off until I can get more media for it.. My phosphates were at 0 anyways so I figured it wouldn't be a problem.

Now im at work dwelling on this, could this be problematic? I know some people would say to ease back on things instead of stopping cold turkey.. Any ideas if this could swing Perimeters in the tank?

Thanks for the help...
