This might work for a 5 to 10 gallon tank with soft easy to care corals like mushroom. It's only 28 watts. I believe the number is 3-5 watts per gallon for soft corals and 6-7 watts per gallon for stony corals (SPS).

you may be able to grow some mushrooms, maybe xenia, and maybe a few other soft corals. i personally would not get it for even soft corals. i would go 4 t5 bulbs minimum for any corals.
