Coral Sky LED's?

Anybody have the Coral Sky LED's and really like them? I am thinking about trying some as supplimental actinic lighting for my reef. Also how easy do they mount to a pendent? Thanks.

It looks intersting, but a little pricey for 12 lights?? Do you think??

I thought so as well, but these are the cream of the crop Cree led's.

You'd be better off getting the 12 LED kit from Rapid and have the option of it being dimmable.

It's actually 36 and not 12. There is 3 LED's per puck.

not 36 either, it's 8 pucks 3 leds each. I wish it was 36, that would be sweet!

I use four AI modules over my 90g and a 12 x 3W DIY over my 9g Nanowave.

As for CoralSky LEDs, I have seen them in person over a few tanks at Matt's Coral Connection when I was in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The corals in his tank are stunning, and those systems appear to be amazing. CoralSky really does make a quality product.

Are you looking at the Versa packs, or the SL II strips? It is the puck packages I have seen. I was going to ask if there is dealer for their products near you, but now I see they have quite a few new dealers, including online ones, listed on their site. CoralSky is based close to where I am at, so they are a little more widespread here.

Hope this helps,
Landon

I was looking at the SL II strips. These are the same strips that WWC uses on there 300 gallon. That is where I learned about them. Goofball310 is correct in the fact that I could get them a lot cheeper from rapid.
