Pump advice

I started out with an Ehiem 1262 but the output was to low so I went to an aquamedic 6500 but the thing is horribly noisy and the output is still short of what I want can anyone recommend a submersible pump with 2500 gal /hr output and is quiet. I keep looking out for the new red dragon pumps but no one seems to know when they will come to the us market. Any input is appreciated,

I have used several OR pumps and have never had a noisy one. (I know others have not been so lucky) 1" should be plenty to get the flow. I have heard that the Water Blasters move a good amount of water but have not held one in my hand yet. Might be worth looking into.

I "T" off the pump to run four reactors (GFO,Carbon, CA and Biopellets) and the remainder runs through a UV so with the pipe friction loss and reactor flow loss the final output is a bit anemic.
I am looking forward to the HF10. hopefully I will have so much flow I will have to bleed some off back into the sump

Very cool. I have two of the 3.0's and really like them. They are very quiet and run very cool. I am running one internal and one external. The external one doesn't even feel warm to the touch. I can't hear them either and my stand does not have any doors and is next to my bed. The HF10 is a much bigger version of my pumps so could be a bit of a different animal.

I did this for years and then a light went on in my head --- Tee off the returns to the sump for that stuff.
It works better, helps quiet the overflow down, provides more random flows in my refugium, and allows full flow from the pump to the tank.

Righton chuckreef, I have T's on both my drain lines to the sump. No need to use electricity for no reason.

My GFO reactor needs some pressure I cant imagine the return providing enough for that, I like the idea for the rest though
