Long Spine Urchins and Vortechs....?
I am thinking of getting a long spine for our current tank. We used to have one and it kept the coraline in check big time. My only question is, has/does anyone have a long spine with vortechs and/or similar powerheads. I am just wondering if his spines will get destroyed in the vortech. Our old tank had a closed loop only, so wondering if this will be an issue as we have 3 vortechs running.

Not an issue but in a 92g I would stick to something like tuxedo urchins. They can have a nice blue color and don't grow the size of basketballs.
Eventually the long spine with be too big to put into a bucket.

sorry haven't updated status, currently upgraded to 200g DD. I love the tuxedo's, I just hate how the pick things up!
