Judging by your posts, I think your tank may still be just too new for a nem I'm sorry to say, it does not sound happy.

This is awful advice -- using a razor bland on an LTA is asking to kill it.

If your tank is only 20 gallons and less than 6 months old you may have water issues that are getting it riled up. Especially if you're not using a protein skimmer. I would think daily 5g water changes for the next week or 2 would be a good idea if it starts walking around again. JMO

20G is risky business for a LTA.... I know someones who LTA took over his 34G in less then 6 months... I would have suggested a RBTA...

Its moving because it doesnt like something... either flow, light, water quality, etc.. etc...

My only advise is to cover the powerheads with filterfloss or sponge so it doesnt get sucked in and sliced up...

Your LTA might finally settles in a spot... which it will no longer like once you turn your powerheads back on

You said you have T5HO lighting, how many bulbs/watts etc? Does the fixture have individual reflectors? LTAs are light hogs and need a ton of lighting to penetrate all the way to the sandbed of the tank.

Going to start from scratch ----

Do you have a sandbed? If so, how deep?
Size of tank?
Lights?
How long has the tank been set up?
Current water parameters -- with numbers please
What all do you have in the tank -- bio-load wise?

Your lighting though watts aren't given are almost certainly not enough light for an LTA.
As for param numbers you really need to know what your alk, ph, nitrates, and salinity are, and should also know mag and cal.
I know your tank is 3mo old and you used water from another tank that may make you THINK it is equal to a longer established tank, but the truth is there is very little gain in biolife in water column alone, this comes from sand and or rock, and it takes time for these to stabalize or be in balance, and this is more critical in a smaller system.
If it were me, I'd pull this guy, and trade for some frogspawn or something.
Really an LTA needs a bit more room than a 20g.

Depends on nem species and how many lamps you have.
Don't get discouraged, just correct your plan a little bit.
