55 gallon sump
I am thinking about making a old 55 gallon I have into a sump for my 150 gallon tank. would that be to big of a sump to have for that size of tank. need some feed back good or bad everything helps

The bigger the sump the better.....more water volume means better water quality as long as you keep up on your tank maintenance.....I say go for it.

I'm in process of building a 55g tank with a roughly 80g sump. And, aiming to increase total water volume with another frag tank. So, the larger the total water volume, the better.
