What To Feed My Tank?
I've been researching my reef tank for close to a year now and I've been cycling for 3.5 weeks now using all dry rock/sand. While doing all my research I seemed to leave out one glaring point. FOOD!
I've got a 55 with a sump and fuge giving me about 77 gallons combined. Just tossed in 2 balls of Chaeto today too. Hoping to add a CUC in the coming week or so. I was looking at stocking with a clown, firefish, cleaner shrimp, royal gramma and maybe something else. Still undecided. What should I be looking at for food? Commercial stuff? Make your own?

a lot of people like Rod's food, I just got some today I haven't tried it yet. Also frozen foods are good like mysis and forumulas 1 and 2. Also life spectrum pellets are nice as well, my clowns go gaga for them! Some also use omega one marine flake food with garlic in it.
take a look here to give you an idea. http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.co...3578/7927/8048 Just a pointer, stay away from foods that don't have fish or a protein as the first ingredient, those foods that don't just have fillers like wheat in them.
