Ai or veretex led lights?
I have a 175 g Oceanic bowfront and am upgrading to LEDs. I have narrowed down systems to AI and Veretex, but can't decide which to get.
What are your thoughts? |

I am having difficulties making the same decision. I have actually considered buying both and then selling the one I don't keep. Demand seems high enough that I should be able to break roughly even on whatever I sell.
Cost wise, the AI units are cheaper, but they apparently have less LED's per foot. Which Vertex are you considering? I'm looking at the 260 series. |

That's like comparing a Cadillac to a Bentley. Both will get the job done just as well but the Bentley does it in style/build quality and obviously a few more $. If looks and having the best floats your boat, go with the Vertex. If you want to save a few bucks, the AI is fine.
