Normal T5 upgrade
Is it worth it to upgrade my T8's to normal T5's? Not HO, just the regulars.
Its for lighting softies/mushrooms and some LPS up high. The regular T5's aren't that much different in wattage, which is why I'm confused cause the fixture for one is a whole lot more. |

I would stay with what you have before upgrading to NO T5's. I do, however, think it would be worth saving up the extra bit of money to get some HO T5's. I know everyone is on a budget these days, but there are some affordable HO T5 fixtures that will do the job. It will also add alot of flexibility in the future for keeping additional coral.
