Acan Lighting vs Aqua Illumination

I am thinking about taking the plunge into leds. My tank is 29" deep and i would like to have clams/some sps

should i go aqua illumination or the acan lighting?

I am leaning acan lighting but don't know enough, before i waste 1500 i would like some input.
My tank is 90 gallons 48x18x29

Acan uses sub par leds that have no modularity what so ever. The unit itself is slightly more appealing as far as being a single slim unit. Honestly, I can live with the Ai's Being slightly bulkier to get 10,000x better product with better LED's, full modularity, 3watt emitters with nice optics. It should be noted that I havent ever owned an Acan unit but from my research it was quickly eliminated from my buy list when compared to companies like maxspect, AI, Vertex.

I have an Acan 104AC over my 75g. Super build quality and fully programmable with 5 timer settings. It's the perfect light over a 90 mixed reef/SPS. It is dead silent-no fans to make noise or eventually burnout. They use "3w" LEDs run at 1-1.3w each. Acan is a much better looking fixture. AI has 2 color choices (white and blue models) and better programming. Do your research. You can't go wrong with either!

Well that's the chance EVERYONE is taking with buying new technology the newest and greatest thing might come out the day after you make your purchase. So if you wanna play it on the safe side then you may have to wait years until the dust has settled and there is a clear winner but as of now there are so many boats to jump on that you just have to make the jump and hope your boat floats lol if it sinks well just pray you can swim lol. The one thing I did like about the AI's when I bought mine is that they are modular so they are easy to upgrade down the road, I have had no experience with the Acan so I can not make any comments on them.
