Exclamation Newb Fish Questions. Help!

Hello everyone,

To start, I am new to keeping an aquarium and just started about a month ago. I have:
1) 14g Biocube
2) clown fish (not sure what kind. The little nemo kind )
1) hammer coral frag

All doing well. No signs of stress for the fish or the hammer. Fish swim, eat, and breathe well and hammer has full extension and color while lights are on. Also, no signs of aggression between the fish. The clowns seem well established and seem to have set their territory; maybe even paired bc they sleep together and constantly follow each other. idk. I'm probably wrong. I'm as new as it gets. lol

My dilemma is: I would like to add one more fish but do not know what. I wanted a ywg but I read stories of clown bullies towards them so i don't think that will work out.

Any suggestions?

Nemo's (Amphiprion ocellaris, percula) are generally very good tank mates to just about anything, so really you can keep any nano type fish in there. The same can't be said about some of the other ones though.

Nemos and domino damsels fight. But you shouldn't have any damsels IMO.

I personnally would not add anymore fish to a 14g tank. If you have LR, sand than you probably only have about 12g of water. I would consider moving to a larger tank if you want more fish.

Agreed. And once those two clowns mature and get to their full size, that tank will be too small for them.

Not the clowns fault there.....a domino would take on a hammerhead if given the opportunity.

Thanks a lot for the help guys! I'll do more research and see what I come up with. I'll probably just keep the two little guys alone until I decide to upgrade.
