I don't have any experience with a goniopora, but here's a good article. HTH.

IMO green goniopora are one of the hardest to keep. I had a green one and a pink one. Pink one is thriving. Green died in a couple of months

Search Justin Credable/ Goniopora

not sure on the exact type that one is but i've had a green goni for maybe a year and a half and I like Gary's comment about your tank being too clean cause mine is a dirty mess and the goni loves it. haha

Very hard coral to keep...I had one for maybe 3 months, was perfect, water conditions were great, i target fed it, everything. It ended up melting to nothing. Needless to say I won't be getting another one.

the key to green Gonis is to feed feed feed. ive got a green bout the size of a volleyball when extended out.

phyto and filter feeding food is KEY

most ppl cant keep them past the 6 month mark. this is because they are slowly dieing due to not feeding enough or trying to keep there tanks to clean for sps.

i feed my reef incredible amounts of stuff each week probably more in 1 week than most ppl feed in 2 months but ive got a really good H&S skimmer and also run GFO.

they dont like to be blasted by water either. put them in a corner with low flow with medium to low light. light isnt a big factor with them
