Brown jelly: How often can you use revive on the same coral?

Last night well 2am I noticed something i think maybe could be brown jelly on my Orange crush acan almost every head had some small jelly stuff on it only a little but something was there ( odd thing is it was more pink in color).. I worry due to the fact that 2 months ago i had another acan die from brown jelly. I dipped the other acan once with revive and it was ok for a few weeks then within 10hrs it was covered again with the brown jelly and a goner .. now the other thing that has crossed mind is the acan was pooping.. I feed it jumbo mysis last week and I'm thinking now that this stuff was only on the heads that i fed.. I did do a revive dip last night and the acan seems fine but i was wondering could i do this dip a few times a week, once a week or should i just chill and wait?.. I know people are going to say don't risk it and just through it or frag it.. but at this time I'm not willing to through it out and this will be very hard to frag due to this stuff was very sporadic throughout the frag

BTW.. Acan was and still is at the bottom of tank with a bit higher flow now
