Question Help...Algae

just setup a new 90 gal tank with two live rocks and all kinds of filters... i am new to all of this... this is my first saltwater tank.... it has been setup for two weeks now and yesterday i put bio-spira in it and in a matter of a day its starting to get some kind of brown stuff all in the tank... not sure what to do or if this is a good thing or bad thing?

WELCOME TO RC & THE ADDICTION!!!

Congrats on the new setup!! do you plan on adding more LR (live rock)?? if so.. you should add it soon.. I hate to see you go through yet another cycle
Sounds like a diatom bloom.. all part of the "newbie tank" syndrome.. you may see a few algae outbreaks over the next few weeks.. Its a good sign.. shows you are on the right path to an established tank
Here are some great links to help you along

Just like bkramer said, just part of the new tank process.

Sounds like it might be diatoms, which is a normal part of the cycling process.

Definately Diatoms, and all perfectly normal, welcome to the hobby, keep all water going into the tank pure and nutrient free and it will just disappear with time.

Not sure how big those live rocks are or what you are referring to as filters, but generally more live rock is fewer filters are what is needed.
