Refugium and GFO reactor?
I am setting up a 70 gallon sump with a 25 gallon section for my refugium. Not even sure how to set up the refugium but will read up on that when the time comes. My question is should I utilize GFO with the refugium? Isn't one of the main functions of the refugium to control phosphate (and nitrates)? I will be using the sump on a 180 gallon fowlr tank. How often do you check phosphate levels? Looking at the new Hanna phosphate reader from BRS.
Thanks to any advice anyone has.

Set up the fuge BB with a power head to keep waste from building up on the bottom and to tumble the chaeto. You may or may not need to run GFO. Watch you po4 if needed run GFO.
