Rock Cleaning

I need to redo my rock. Even with 0phos and 0nit. it still growing.
That leads me to believe that the food source is coming from the rock its self.
So whats your opinion?
1. Should I bleach and then acid wash my rock?
or
2. Should i cook my rock for months.

The draw backs would be cooking takes so long, and acid kills everything but its fast although I would still have to cycle the rock.

What do you guys think?
