duetto 100 with phosban

I took a duetto 100 and put about 2 table spoons of phosban inside it. About every 4 minutes it let's out a short burst of micro bubbles. It has been submersed for 3 days and there are no other (source) bubbles in tank. Is this just part of the phosban working?
