need help with id on this
i just notcied these white/clear things on one of my pieces of lr in my refugium. This rock used to be in my display tank but then i moved it to the refugium, It never had these when it was in the DT.

looks like tunicates or sponge to me go to chucksaddiction.com or google hitchhikers and try to find an id

The football shaped ones with the "hats" are pineapple sponges. Completely harmless filter feeders. I can't make out the other stuff, but some of the ones that look like balls are most likely another type of sponge. Also, some of the stuff looks like dead macro algae, but that's just a guess.

yea i cant find anything that resembles the other stuff that is coating the whole rock. the other ones do look like pineapple sponges. maybe aiptasia or some kind of anenomes?

The other white stuff is probably a sponge growing. It could be macro algae dying off too, I have seen some similar to this.
