New Light, New algae
I have had my tank up for about 1 year now and was running cf lighting. Recently I switched to Tek light T5 and within a matter of days my LR, substrate and glass is covered in algae. The types vary from green to red to brown. Is this to be somewhat expected with the addition of the more intense lighting? Is it something to worry about? Any ideas how to get rid of it?
