That looks like it would be a good skimmer for that. If you want a cheaper version that uses the same pump you might check this out.

It would be a perfect skimmer. over 1 year no issues ..Luke came through for 4 on this skimmer.

This is a new impeller I got to try on it . It is a mesh .

. It had the pinwheel running on it in this pic .

How deep are you running that skimmer? I have a 120 as well and just can seem to find the right height.

A lil over seven inches . It just barely covers the output of the standpipe . U have to almost close it 3/4 .. + - until u find the sweet spot . If ur feeding the tank brine shrimp + it will make the skimmer go nuts . Rinsed or not . I dial it back when I feed that stuff . Then dial it back in the next day .

Brine shrimp sets your skimmer off? Mine is fine after mysis, spiraluna, or brine, and I feed heavy, but mine has a filter sock and refugium before it reaches the swc. Also I have my skimmer all the way up to about an inch under the plastic rim of the neck. Mine use to have a low water level but now I have to keep it high because I the "dirt" level is much lower than when It was when ifirst put it in.

[QUOTE=Bubbaboy;18975401]Brine shrimp sets your skimmer off?

This stuff does .

Omega one super brine shrimp with spirulina .
Red colored box ..

The hikari baby brine does not do this .
