Which AI SOL Modules??

I've decided on AI for lighting my 76gal reef. Which modules are best to get? SOL white, SOL Blue, or SOL ultra blue?

It would depend on what your color preference is. I went w/ the SOL Blue unit as I like my color more towards the 20k.

If you talk to the company, they say white grow better an have enough blue for moonlight, but the sol blues make the corals look amazing with the 2 blues to 1 led vs the whites have 2 whites to 1 blue.

I have 3 sol whites and love them

Hmm, for some reason I thought growth was better with the blues.

Anyway... I've also read a lot about the PAR ratings in the forums and various online articles. My concern and the source of some of my confusion is shouldn't we be looking at the PUR more so than the PAR? I'm confused.

So what is the consensus? Do the whites really grow much faster than blues? I'd prefer the blues for their color spectrum, but I want enough PAR too. But this is AI, why am I concerned? Haha.

I typed a rather lengthy post, but my browser closed

So now I'll summarize!

I would buy the Sol Blues - each "puck" contains 3 unique bulbs (1 white, 1 blue, 1 royal blue). The Sol White pucks are (2 white, 1 blue).

The Sol White units lack the RB bulb - so you won't have the same customizability. The RB really makes my corals pop.

Besides, the worst case is that you want more "White", and you turn up the power. Many people don't run at 100% anyway, so you should have room to turn up the Whites if you need to.

That's exactly what I was thinking mjwz06. No, really... I was... lol. I think I'm going with the blues. Thanks for that link Hagisan!

There's no doubt that these fixtures have the PAR, but what about the spectrum? Does it cover the entire usable wavelengths and do any colors suffer as a result of spotty spectrum?
