Best Skimmer for a 150 gallon system

Whats the best skimmer for a 150 gallon system..

My budget is about 450$.

I was thinking about the Super Reef octopus 3000 or should i go in for the larger 5000.

The tank is going to be a sps reef with a medium bio-load.

Any suggestions welcome..

My bud is running a SRO 2000 and it pulls out some nasty skimmate!

SRO 3000 would kick some butt on a 150 as well!
