Trying to identify

This came on a piece of LR i got from the lfs, It has very long arms sticking out and two things that look like starfish arms towards the base that move around when its out of the hole. I noticed today when I look at certain angles that the longer arms seem to have shiny red bands on them. Any ideas?

Well, it's hard to tell from your picture, but it looks like it might have a hard shell, and if so, the two thoughts that come to mind are either a vermetid worm (actually a sedentary snail) or possibly a feather duster worm (perhaps with a damaged or regenerating crown).
