Almost ready!!

Hey everyone! I took some wise advice from people when I asked what to purchase for my 120 gallon tank I want to turn into a reef so I ordered a 5 stage RODI system that should be here tomorrow! I now am second guessing whether I want to use my Eheim 2217 & 2215 or custom build a sump. My tank is already predrilled in both corners but I have it plugged in my freshwater setup. Any comments or suggestions on what to do here?

Well since it's already pre-drilled, I would use a sump & maybe use 1 Eheim for chemical & mechanical filtration as well. Sumps are very useful, they provide an area for a refugium & a place to install your skimmer, as well as adding volume to your tank.

Ok cool deal! I will plan on making one from an aquarium. How many gallon sump would you recommend for a 120 gallon tank?

If you can fit a 40g under the tank, that would be perfect, otherwise no smaller than a 20g.
