captive reared flamboyant cuttles @ LI aquarium

If anyone who is interested in cephs has a chance to get out to the Long Island Aquarium, they have some absolutely stunning flamboyant cuttles on display. I saw them this past weekend (caught them at feeding time even!) and it was truly a spectacle- definitely worth the trip.

Here's an article about the rearing process if anyone is interested.

no problem! I've read a lot about captive rearing of s. bandensis, so it was pretty awesome to see success with the flamboyants. It's amazing how small they are (about the size of your thumb).

You should sign up on TONMO.com if you haven't already. It's all about Octo's and Cuttles. Lots of journals about captive raised Bandensis.

That video of the cuttles mating was awesome, but the music was horrible!
