turboflotor skimmer problems

I have a 90 gal tank, 30 sump, im using a turboflotor with a rio 2100 pump on it, I just cant seem to get it properly adjusted. It continues to suck water and fills up in 5 mins or less. I also raised the skimmer up thinking the water level is to high, still sucking water. I have adjusted the knobs to 3 oclock and tried 6 as well. It worked for awhile, then started filling up, now I cant get it to stop. Ive had it running a couple months.

any advice is appreciated.
