Tell Me About Your "Fuge Buddies"

I have a 30g long sump under my 75g display tank. The middle section is a fuge full of chaeto, rock rubble, a small frag rack (under LED) and some soft corals. I also have a massive turbo snail that resides in the sump (moves between the skimmer and fuge sections).

The fuge section measures 16" x 12.5" x 10" so about a 9g tank.

I find myself spending a ton of time staring at the fuge since I do have some coral down there as well as a very healthy amount of microfauna (pods, worms, etc.).

My question to all of you, is what can I put down there for a little more life that is safe for the current fuge inhabitants. Preferably something that will feed on detritus and the other stuff that makes it past the skimmer section to settle in the fuge. It has to be something that won't kill my giant snail, eat my pods, or eat my coral/chaeto.

Any ideas?

Pic of the fuge section (corals not open, just turned on lights):

Edit: the frag rack is not boxed in, animals can swim/crawl completely under it.

I have a gorilla crab and a chromis nobody wanted.

Ime its best to leave critters out of the sump unless they serve a purpose or are things you find in your display that you don't want to kill. Most of the detritus that settled in your sump isn't really a food source. Best thing to do is siphon it out with your water changes.

Won't a shrimp eat the pods? I already have 2 cleaners in the display but I'm sure there are others that would look cool. Plenty of bristles some decent size.
