ich outbreak - loses due to the treatment

folks, I lost Achillies tang, Flame angel, 2 anthias, shrimp all because i was treating with second dosing of Kick-Ich product from Ruby. I took down one of my SBS as well.

This happened after 2nd dosing - all skin became bleached (all white).

I recommend that you QT or let it cure icy itself. I have taken wrong decision and ended up paying big price. I would recommend everyone not to use the product (unless someone can come in defensive of it)
I did the 110 gal of water change of my 180 gal tank(including sump).

What should I do? i see icy on blue hippo - this was first one to get it and still alive and doing well except dots on skin
Thanks.

sorry for your losses. Most if not all of the success from kick ick can also be related to the natural life cycle ick takes.

Well Kick Ich is not one of the recommended treatments, copper or hypo salinity are the only proven methods. One requires exacting salinty & the other a proper copper level during treatment. Was the Achilles Tang eating a healthy diet before it contracted Ich & died?
