cheto growth
My tank has a growing issue with hair algea so I know I have an issue. So my question would be why I cant get cheto to grow in my sump. My tank is a 180 with sump that has about 50 gals of water in it. I never had a problem with cheto when I had my 90 set up. This was my second go around with it in the 180 and for the second time it has about vanished. Any ideas on what could be the reason?

Try 24/7 lighting, preferably 5600k bulb & increase your flow in the refugium, I grow Cheato like it's going out of style & I have no nuisance algae issues in the Display Tank.
