don't know about the red thingy.. not 100% sure what it is..

def get rid of the pest anemone..!!

you can buy AiptasiaX or go the more "cheaper" route and go to Pharmacy.. buy a hypo needle and inject that b**t**d with lemon juice!!! watch it disinegrate (sp) away!! Aiptasia are pests because they spread like crazy and actually sting corals, fish, etc and if get really big.. can even eat your fish (not that I personally have ever seen it.. just read it ) They also have stinger tentacles they release and are very painful if it touches you!!! I personally had this happen and had to be rushed to ER.. I had an allergic reaction..
so when injecting the jerkie.. be VERY careful!!!

The sponge is safe but I'd remove the anemone. Get aptasiaX works wonders

I agree if left unchecked the anemone will spread like wildfire.

The red is a type of algae. I've had a little bit of it before, it never really got any bigger (that doesn't mean it can't, mine just didn't).

The "Red" stuff looks like Red Turf Algae. It can take over like bryopsis algae. If it looks like this then get it "ALL" out.

Good job taking him out of the tank to do it. If you clip/grab them in the tank and a few bits get away, you will find them cropping up later as whole new nems.
