Problem with Aqua Logic 1/3 hp drop-in chiller

I have the above chiller, and in the last couple of days I have noticed a potential problem. I have noticed that the compressor fan, will kick on for several minutes, before the compressor turns on. When the preset temperature is reached, both will shut off. The tank remains cool, and there does not appear to be any operational problems. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Is this the beginning of a potential compressor malfunction? Anyone with experience with chillers please help, I am going on vacation in 5 days, and I really need a quick answer. Thanks.

I just started to notice now that sometimes when the compressor shuts off, the fan remains on. None of this is very consistent, so I am still stuck for an explanation.

I am not Aqua Logic chiller Tech, but I can say this.

High side pressure creates heat and your condenser is what transfers the heat away with a fan blowing.

Fan coming on is based on temps of the condenser not the compressor being on.
Hope this helps.

Do you think that possibly dirty condensor coils could be the culprit then?
