Open Brain opinion?
Hey guys,
I'm tempted to buy this Open Brain Coral from somebody on Kijiji, he just sent me a picture and I thought I'd get opinions before I went over to look at it/buy it. he was asking 30, and said he'd take 25 Does it look healthy/worth the money to you? the open brains at my LFS are selling for 60 bucks... Looks OK to me. I don't see any tissue recession (although it isn't fully expanded since the daylights aren't on), nor do I see any of the underlying skeleton. To play it safe, I'd ask for a recent photo of the brain coral fully expanded with the daylights on. But $25 would be a great deal IMO.

With so many frags in the hobby these days, some of the corals the LFS get are way overpriced. I'd offer $20. It's nothing special, just your run of the mill green brain coral.
