BRS Dual reactor issues
I am having an issue with my dual reactor. I but it back in use last night after my move for the first time. Completely cleaned the pads, canister, and MJ1200 running it. So I made up some water, started the reactor, and adjusted the flow to where the GFO was just tumbling. Filled my sump back up to the appropriate level. Wake up this morning and there was barley any water in my return. Looked at the internal GFO canister (one with all the foam pads) and it was sucked inwards a little. Seems like the water isn’t coming out fast enough. Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix? It did this before and I thought it just needed a good cleaning, but that is not the case. In the mean time, should I dial back my return pump?

I'm a little confused. The reactor isn't going to take in any more water, any faster than it returns. If your sump is low it's probably due to evaporation or you you didn't take into account the water that would be "removed" to fill up the reactor.

I agree with the above, also if you need to replace the pads. BRS sells them separately as well.

If you filled the sump back up after you already had the reactors up and running then I would check for a leak somewhere else. maybe one of the hoses has a small and slow leak. once its running and the sump was filled it would not take anymore water as it wouldn't have anywhere to put it. I cant imagine the water would evaporate so much over night unless you have a massive display and small sump

Make sure your canister is installed correctly.
I installed one of my canisters upside down once... too me forever to figure out why it wasn't working correctly.
