If you specify specifci bins you will end up paying a lot more IMHO. Just get royal blue and either cool or neutral whites from a reputable dealer.

If you pick a bin it will cost a lot more. Whta is wrong with a general bin?
Where are you ordering from?

Get the "Premium" CREE LED in your specified color from Reefledlights.com (sponsor here). They are handpicked bins for premium spectrum.

Well, I was trying to guide him in that general direction - I guess I should have been blunt. Also check out RapidLED (also a sponsor).

Another possibility is clay-boa.com - they only seem to sell the best bins of any given led type, and last time I checked their prices were reasonable. You might not get them straight away though - it is a group buy after all.

The price for a RB is $3.39 you have to get to 50 to beat that at cutter ($3.32). So I have considered them.

Wow where are you getting those prices.
I don't remember the bin numbers. Do you have some you are considering? may it will refresh my memory. But IIRC the XP binning guide list several in the CW area and any of those should work.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that RC replaced my original URL with a made up one... Especially given that the fish man managed to get the price from the web-page I mentioned.
Personally I think it's pretty pathetic that RC does this, but hey, it's their site and they gets to set the rules... Simon. (wonder what would happen if clay-boa.com linked to a porn site or something. You can damn well bet someone would be sued by someone...) |

They broke some of RC rules. So RC decided to change the URL. RC does it in emails too. They don't allow bins selection only what they buy.
