Refractometer question
What do I use to calibrate my refractometer? i have heard either distilled water or calibration fluid. Which should I use.

Calibration fluid is much better since it will dial in your refractometer in the range you will be using it at. RO/DI water or Distilled Water will get you in the ballpark, but calibration solution is the way to go.

Whether or not you can use distilled water depends on what type of refrac you have. And don't look at the directions, because they might not be written for our specific application.
On ANY refractometer, a calibration fluid is going to put you spot on.
