Mp40 question

Ok this might a stupid question ;
I have a 125 mixed reef and currently have 1 mp40 , I want to add another one to the other side but don't want another control box etc.... Can I , or what do I need to slave another mp40 to work with the current one and control Box ? Can this be done or what do I need to do to be able to accomplish this ?
Thanks

Unfortunately if you want to have the ability to have the pumps communicate you'll have to have another control box with the pump.

The controller is attached to the pump itself. However, in slave mode you will only need to access one box to control the modes/flow.

This is going to depend on what model you have. Is it an MP40W? If it is and you buy a new one, you can control the other and sync them together.

yea if your going to get two mp40s i would just get the whole kit and have them communicate with each other since i heard this is the best way to run these pumps.

It will need to be another control box. It is the driver for the pump.

If you have a mp40w or mp40wes then you can hide one of them and have one box control both.

I have 3 MP10's and yes the controllers can be somewhat of an annoyance to place but as a couple of people have previously mentioned if you sync them then you will only really need access to the one controller and the other one could be hidden in a deep dark area
