Help! Skimmer Problem!

Hey all, I purchased this 65g skimmer which can be HOB or Sump use. I have it HOB on my 40g BR. Problem is there are tons and tons of micro bubbles comming out of its "micro bubble diffuser" I re-read the instructions SEVERAL times CHECKED all fittings SEVERAL times but to no avail. Has anyone else used this skimmer and if so what was your experience with them.

Thanks
Greg

I had same issue with my reef octopus hob skimmer. It took a couple of days to break in.

Is there something in the water thak makes it suspend the bubbles like that. It says to give it 24 to 72 hrs to break in but I didnt think that was for the micro bubbles?

The coralife skimmer is considered a low end skimmer. Anybody will tell you that you will have to upgrade. To solve your microbubbloe problem. Purchase a mini filter sock, place it over the return in the bubble diffuser. This should greatly reduce the bubble problem, if not eliminate it altogether.
