Elos alk test question
Hi
Just did the elos alk test. Followed instruction. Added drop by drop, shaking vial for 5 to 10 seconds between drops. Didnt see any cyan color, Color turned light orange at 10 drops, then dark orange...never went to yellow. I dropped 50 drops, still dark orange or light red! Why is this? All corals fish, inverts ar ok in dt! Instructions say when color turns from cyan to yellow, count total drops /2=dkh....which normally should be 8 to 12dkh. Thx!

The appearance of any yellow means you've hit the end. So the orange color counts since that is yellower than blue.

Thanks guys.
But I never saw cyan for any drop is that fine? Also is elos reliable to be accurate or should I add 10%? How long after expiry date the kit is valid, stored in room temp and way from light? Thanks for help.
