Getting ready
So i am getting ready for my tank set up. I think i finally figured out what i am going to do. Its a 90 gallon eventually going to be mixed. Quick set up is a 30 gallon sump with a mag 12 doing the return. SWC XTREME 160 protein skimmer, a gfo and carbon reactor, Ca Reactor, Auto top off system, and 48 LED lights. All will be controlled by the Apex system because i need as much automation as i can to help me out when i cannot be home.
I am going to be making a custom canopy, stand, and led system so hopefully ill have some nice DIY and hopefully it will all work with the plans i sketched (never dose). The only question i have is do i need an orp probe. Ive read things that its good to monitor cause it can be an early warning of problems and others saying it doesnt matter unless you run ozone and other who simply dont know. So i guess thats the last of my questions. After exams this week it is onto the building phase Last edited by Waddleboy; 10/07/2011 at 10:59 AM. |
